2010 Judo Grand Slam, Tokyo Result (Dec 11-13) : Men's +100 kg: KIM , Sung-Min, Gold; Women's -63 kg: JOUNG, Da-Woon, Bronze; Women's -70 kg: HWANG, Ye-Sul, Bronze.

Team Korea captured seven (7) gold, five (5) silver, and ten (10) bronze medals at the KRA Korea World Cup in Suwon City (Dec 3-4):

• Men's division's 5 gold medal winners: -60kg CHOI, Gwang-Hyeonin; -73 kg, WNAG, Ki-Chun; -81 kg, KIM Jae-Bum; -100 kg, PARK, Sun-Woo; and +100 kg, KIM, Sung-Min.
• Women's division's 2 gold medal winners: -70 kg, HWANG, Ye-Sul and -78 kg, JEONG, Gyeong-Mi.

We regret to inform you the passing of Mr. KIM Yi-Dong (82), father of Mr. KIM Do-Joon (KJA board member and IJF Referee), on Sunday, November 21.

대한유도회 김도준 이사(국제심판) 부친 김이동(82세)씨 께서 일요일(21일) 노환으로 별세 하셨습을 알려드립니다. 

2010 Asian Games Results, Guangzhou, China (Nov. 13-16) - Team Korea won the second place with 6 Gold, 3 Silver, and 5 Bronze medals, and one 5th place. 우리나라유도대표팀은 종합(금6개, 은3개, 동5개)를 획득하여 종합 2위를 하였습니다.

Korean judokas were impressive at the 2010 Asian Games:

• Men's team won the first place with 4 gold medals in -66 kg (KIM, Joo-Jin), -81 kg (KIM Jae-Bum), -100 kg (HWANG, HEE-Tae) , and +100 kg (KIM Soo-Whan); 1 silver medal in the -73 kg (WNAG, Ki-Chun) division; 2 bronze medals in -60 kg (CHOI, Min-Ho), and in -90 kg ( LEE, Kyu-Won).
• Women's team won the second place with 2 gold medals in -70 kg (HWANG, Ye-Sul), -78 kg (JUNG, Kyung-Mi) ; 2 silver medals in -52 kg (KIM, Jan-Di) and Open (KIM Na-Young); 3 bronze medals in -48 kg (CHUNG, Jung-Yeon), -63 kg (KONG, Ja-Young), and +78 kg (KIM, Na-Young); 1 fifth place in the -52 kg (KIM, Kyung-Ok) division.

2010 Jikki Cup International Junior Judo Results - Team Korea won the first place with 6 gold, 5 silver, and 8 bronze medals. (July 10 - 11)

2010 Moscow Grand Slam Results (July 3 - 4) Team Korea won 4 Silver and 2 Bronze medals, and 2 fifth places.우리나라는 은메달4개와 동메달 2 개를 획득하였습니다.

Team Korea won the first place with 2 Gold and 3 Silver medals in the male divisions at the Warsaw World Cup - Poland : Day 1 - BANG, Gui-man, -73kg(Gold); CHOI,Gwang-hyeon, -60kg(Silver); Day 2 - KIM, Jae-bum, -81 kg(Gold); SONG, Dae-nam, -81kg(Silver); KIM, Sung-min, +100kg(Silver). 이번 대회에서 총 금메달2개와 은메달3개를 획득한 우리나라는 종합 우승을 차지하였습니다. 2010 Düsseldorf Grand Prix Results - Team Korea won 1 Gold, 1 Silver, and 2 Bronze medals, and 3 fifth places.우리나라는 일본과 몽골에 이어 남자부 (금메달1, 은메달 1, 동메달 2 개) 종합 3위를 차지하였습니다. 이번 대회 남자부에만 참가 했다.  (Feb 20~21, 2010 I JF/KJA)

2010 Paris Grand Slam Results (02.06-07, 2010 - IJF) - Korean Ki-Chun Wang (73kg), world champion 2007-09 and Olympic silver medalist 2008, was to be seen on the highest step again, being the most victorious judoka of the World Circuit short history. In 2009, Wang won all three Grand Slam that he took part (Paris, Moscow and Tokyo). From the three male categories fought this Saturday, Korea also won the 66kg with Joo-Jin Kim. Team Korea won 2 Gold and 4 Bronze medals, and 3 fifth places.우리나라는 일본, 프랑스에 이어 종합 3위를 차지하였으며,  남자는 금메달2, 동메달 1개로 종합우승을 차지하였습니다.  (Feb 06~07, 2010 IJF/KJA)

2010 IJF World Masters, Suwon Korea ( IJF Masters Suwon KOR 2010, Jan 16) - The first major competition featuring the new refereeing rules offered a great spectacle to the public present at the Suwon Gymnasium for the IJF World Masters Suwon 2010. Team Korea won 3 Gold, 4 Silver, and 2 Bronze medals, and 6 fifth places.

2010 Suwon World Masters will be held on 1.16~17, 2010 at Suwan Gymnasium, Suwan, Korea. The top 16 judoka of each weight division fighting for medals, word ranking points and a total prize money of US$ 200,000. (IJF/KJA)
